How do you remove the driver side window control buttons located on the armrest?

The "Auto" switch does not work. I want to see what the problem is. The windows motor is good. The other switches work. I removed the screw that holds the switch group in, but I can't seem to pull out the switch group. Do I need to force it out? Any ideas? I don't want to break anything!
