My 1999 C70 Volvo convert top opens but the rear lid remains open.

These tops have a few micro switches and potentiometers that the computer uses to monitor the position of all the moving parts. If one of the sensors are bad, this is what happens. Get it checked by a shop that has the proper equipment to communicate with the convertible top computer to determine what is wrong. Good Luck
