In a 1999 Volvo C70 convertible the light on the switch that operates the convertible top stays on what is wrong?

Without looking at the car, it will be almost impossible to say what's going on. Could be the switch itself, but who knows. Bring the car to a Volvo specialist and have them diagnose it.
the convertible works just fine but the switch light is still on and do u know how much its gonna cost me for the diagnostic test?
Ditto! There are way too many possibilities when it comes to these convertible tops.
