My Volvo is beeping and will not stop even while in drive.

You may have a bad door switch or an issue with the interior lighting system. This system has door switches which tell the system that the door is closed, and if the switch is bad, the system may think the door is open. You would likely see an interior light on too, but possibly not. There's also the possibility the ignition switch is having problems too. This should be a relatively easy diagnosis for an experienced mechanic familiar with Volvos, so I recommend finding one to help with this electrical issue. Good luck, Bret
