What willcause 1994 Volvo turbo850 will turn over but wont start no spark

The ignition operation on this vehicle consists of a distributor cap, ignition control module, ignition wires. There is a pick up coil. If something got wet to the point where a component could have been damaged, it would have to be inspected first hand to see if it has failed. Unfortunately, without testing, there's no way to guess at what is not working properly.
