Speedometer / Odometer Failures

The speed sensor is located at the differential assembly. Check if the insulation of the wires are separated from the core. Sometimes even the connector breaks. In this case just re-insulate the wires, so they won't be shorted to each other. If the connector is bad see if your local dealer still sells the repair kit or the whole connector. If it's not the case take your car to a shop and ask them to diagnose the problem. Zee
