Anybody had a Transmission repair or replacement? If so what did it cost?

Hello, The transmission can be found used for around 1k, new for around 3500, and rebuilding is estimated by the extent of reconditioning and damage to components. Labor could easily be 8-12 shop hours, so I wouldn't think you could get the job done for less than 2000-2500. However, this is speculative at best, and I recommend having it quoted by multiple certified shops to find the best price.
