after having burned valve repaired check engine won't reset 60,000 miles

original code was misfire #4. car repaired but still shows misfire #4 won't reset. Repair shop thinks the injector was shut off by computer and may need reset by dealer? Car actually had been running good with just a slight miss, getting 30mpg on hiway. then check engine light came on. After repair shop diagnosed problem car would barely run and check engine light was flashing. Then they did the heads and can't get it to reset that injector?
