I even got an OEM part. Still getting error. I have changed the TIPM and the computer. Both came from a reputable business, still getting the same error. NEED ADVICE PLEASE.

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Routan. It sounds like you've done a lot of work to address the P0404 EGR error, which indicates that the EGR flow is insufficient. Since you've replaced the EGR valve multiple times and the TIPM and computer, it's time to consider a few other potential issues. First, check any vacuum lines connected to the EGR system; a leak or blockage could affect performance. Additionally, inspect the EGR passages for any carbon buildup that might restrict flow, even if the valve is clean. There could also be a problem with wiring or connectors. If everything seems fine but the code persists, a professional diagnostic may help pinpoint the issue further. If you need more advice, have any other questions about your vehicle, or would like to get connected to a RepairPal Certified shop near you, we have you covered.
