Car was randomly stalling and misfiring. Replaced crankshaft and camshaft sensors car doesn't start

This was my grand daughters car. It would randomly shut off and hard to restart at times. It shut off on the freeway leaving her stuck in a lane and wouldn't restart. That was the last time she drove the car. My grandson drove it as well and it still stalled but also started misfiring that got worse. Nobody bothered to scan for codes and they let the car sit with a dead battery. We jumped the car but any codes had cleared. It was misfiring at idle so I shut it off and replaced the crankshaft and camshaft sensors. Now it doesn't start. Found a couple blown 20 amp fuses but don't know what they're for. Need to get new fuses and try again. Hopefully that cures the issues. The car has 140K miles on it 2007 vw rabbit
