Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. This is definitely unusual, hands on testing is needed to see what is happening when the problem occurs. Is there power at the wiper motor when the problem happens? If so, the wiper motor could be suspect. That is my first guess, but hands on testing is needed.
