What is your question?
Check engine light came on. Went to Autozone to get diagnosis. Said it was the fuel cap. Picked one up at the local VW dealer. Put it on and have drove around for about 15-20 minutes, but light is still on. Does it need to be reset? Does it need to be driven more? Could it be another fuel line issue?

Hello, if the check engine light was not cleared during testing, then yes - it will have to be cleared to be able to have the evaporative emissions test run again. The fuel filler cap may or may not be the cause of failure. It's what's guessed at first -- and especially at Auto Zone where they want to sell you parts. Even though you picked yours up at the dealership. It's a complex system and they've merely given you an easy guess -- so -- have the code cleared and drive to see how it goes.
