What is your question?
When Starting my car it starts but immediately turns off. I have recently replaced the battery because it was bad. I tried changing the fuel pump but that did not resolve the issue. When I turn the ignition to on the check engine light, ABS, EPC, Traction Control lights come on. Radio does not turn on when i turn the ignition on I have to manually turn the radio on and off. Before the car went completely out the car would take a few tries to start but eventually would start. All the same lights came on, but all lights would turn off after driving a while. Car would start fine the rest of the day after initial start. Nothing is working to start the car. Jumping the car would work at one point of time. I have had the alternator and starter checked and it came back fine. What could possibly be the issue here?

Hey there, I'm Dusty from RepairPal's Car Genius team. I'm here to help! Your Passat starting issue could be related to a security system problem. When you try to start the car, it starts briefly but then immediately shuts off, which is often indicative of an issue with the immobilizer, which is designed to prevent unauthorized starting. Given these symptoms, it's crucial to have a professional perform a diagnostic check and pinpoint the exact cause. A problem with the electrical system or a communication network issue could also be involved.
