Feeling a small kick/jerk when car goes from 1 to 2 gear. Whats thbest next step

What is your question?

The kick/jerk from 1-2 gear is felt more during times when the car is not "hot" yet. So mornings and such. Theres a very slight jerk going from 2>3 gear too. Reading up online, it sounds like there is a software update for this type of issue? VW service bulletin issues Dec. 22 ,2011. #10043286

there are quite a few software updates on that vehicle. I can re-flash computers at our shop but on all Volkswagen and Audi I always send them to the dealer. There is a difference between the update I get online from VW vs. the Dealer and 1 up date usually causes another problem.
