What is your question?
All i know is one day the car worked, and now it won't start. The battery died and I charged it with my other car and tried to start the vehicle, the emobolizer came on. I spent time trying to figure that out and finally got past it but the car still won't start. I ran a code scan and it came back tcm error code p0864. I changed the crank position sensor and still doesn't come on. I'm not getting any spark and I believe I'm not getting gas either. I checked all the fuses. This problem boggles me and would really like to have it running again.

TCM = trans control module not preventing your car from starting no fuel and no spark crank position sensor was a good start. Does this car have a timing belt if so is it broken?. Is the fuel pump working? Best way to check it is to use a test light at the power wire to the pump if no power then either a relay or fuse is bad, if power there then the pump is bad. There may be other codes that a generic scanner will not pick up
It being a newer vw, I'm gonna bet on that it has a belt instead of chain. Ok I will check the pump and the obd2 that I'm using is from obdwiz and it's a usb one that pretty elaborate but it just keeps giving me that code. I will give an update on my findings, thanks for the advice
