I have an 02 VW Passat Wagon and just recently staring downshifting funny

What is your question?

it only happens as I am downshifting from 2nd to 1st and then once I accelerate and shifts into 2nd or 3rd gear it does fine, no lights on the dash

What makes this problem better or worse?

it only does it after driving for about 30min and downshifting into 2-3rd gear

Hello, What does the vehicle actually do that alerts you to the problem when it shifts from 2nd to 1st gear? Are you driving in 'S' or 'D'?
