horn not working

What is your question?

when i lock the doors you can hear the horn beep. when i push on the horn there is nothing .how do i remove the center part of the steering wheel to check horn contact without disturbing the airbag?

The electrical contacts behind the steering wheel are worn out. They just need to be replaced.

voltswagen manual pretty vague on how to remove center of steering wheel.can it be done without disturbing drivers airbag?

it can be removed without disturbing the air bag, but its always best to take the precaution of disconnecting both negative and positive battery terminals, and waiting 15 minutes before working around anything that may deploy an airbag
