Replacement of the engine (remove and refit with transfer of parts) is about 11 hours, things inevitably go wrong break or need replacement or would be a good idea to replace while the engine is out and will cause more labor time. Replacement engine quality and price vary and you will want to compare like with like, a cheap engine may not necessarily be a good deal. You will want to know warentee with the new engine and ask if the shop fitting the engine have used this rebuilder before and have not had a problem. I was just in Oakdale last Sunday morning got a speeding ticket!
