my 2001 passat has a check engine code 1411 and 1423,can anyone tell me how to fix the problem

1411 Is the MAF sensor get a cleaner before you replace it sometimes is just plain dirty 1423 Secondary air injection (AIR) system, insufficient flow detected Cause Hose connection(s), AIR valve/solenoid
Symptom: Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) illuminated, possible codes P1411, P1423, 17819 or 17831 stored. System: Emissions/PCM/Fuel Codes: P1411, P1423, 17819, 17831 Problem 1 of 2: Vacuum leak or failed combination valve. Test & Fix: A vacuum leak in the secondary air injection vacuum hoses or combination valve is one of the most common causes of this code setting. One component of this system is the Secondary Air Injection Solenoid. This solenoid valve should have a good vacuum source at one of the hoses anytime the engine is running. The other vacuum hose at the secondary air injection solenoid valve goes to the combination valve(s). Inspect these vacuum hoses carefully and repair as needed. To test the combination valve(s), locate the pressure hose that runs from the secondary air pump motor to the combination valve and remove the pressure hose from the secondary air pump motor. NOTE: Press the retainer together at the ends to release. With the engine running and no vacuum applied to the combination valve vacuum hose, there should be no exhaust noise coming out of the pressure hose inlet. Next, apply vacuum to the combination valve(s) vacuum hose. The combination valve(s) should open and there should now be exhaust noise coming out of the pressure hose inlet. The vacuum hose and combination valve(s) should hold vacuum. Replace the component that leaks vacuum. Replace the combination valve(s) if it does not open or close properly. Problem 2 of 2: Failed Secondary Air Injection Pump Motor. Test & Fix: Disconnect the electrical connector at the secondary air injection pump motor. To activate the secondary air injection pump motor, supply power power and ground to it. The pump should blow air like a hair dryer on high speed. If the pump motor fails to run, it will need to be replaced. At times, the pump motor can become filled with water and or condensation due to a failed combination valve. Replace the combination valve at the same time as the pump and make sure to blow all water out of the pressure hose to prevent another pump failure.
Customer Concern: Check Engine Light (CEL) is on. Trouble codes P1411 (17819) and P1423 (17831). Tests/Procedures: 1. Check the combination valves, at the rear of each cylinder head, for broken or loose vacuum hoses and repair as necessary. 2. Verify that both combination valves open fully when vacuum is applied to the diaphragms (use a hand-held vacuum pump) and that the valves are not carbon fouled or restricted (remove the valves and visually inspect the condition and operation). 3. Manually activate the AIR pump motor V101 (this can be done with a scan tool in output diagnostic test mode or by jumping a power and ground source to the motor), and verify that the AIR pump produces a large volume of output air. 4. Manually activate the Secondary Air Injection Solenoid Valve N112 with the engine at idle (jump power and ground to the solenoid) and verify that the manifold vacuum is available at the combination valves vacuum lines. Potential Causes: Defective A.I.R. Pump Leaking Air Lines — From pump to combination valves. Broken Combination Valve Vacuum Line Defective Combination Valves Tech Tips: Secondary Air Injection System blows air into the exhaust, behind the exhaust valves, via passages in the cylinder heads. This extra air injection takes place on a cold engine (+5 to +33 degrees C engine coolant temperature) for about 100 seconds and serves to quickly heat the catalytic converters for improved emissions. When the engine is started cold, the PCM activates the AIR pump motor V101 via the Secondary Air Injection Pump Relay J299 and the Secondary Air Injection Solenoid Valve N112. With the V101 pump and the N112 solenoid active, pressurized air and manifold vacuum are passed to the combination valves on the heads. Manifold vacuum signal from the N112 solenoid opens the combination valves and allows the pressurized air produced by the V101 pump to enter the exhaust behind the exhaust valves. Code P1411 and/or P1423 will set if the O2 sensors do not see a large enough change in exhaust gas oxygen when the Secondary Air Injection System is active
