What is your question?
I recently ran over a curb and had to replace one of my engine mounts. But now I feel a slight shudder when I’m in idle but I notice it more when the ac is on in idle. I’m wondering would this be an alignment issue, a suspension issue, or do I just need to tighten my other engine mount?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Turning the ac off
How long has your 2014 Volkswagen Jetta had this problem?
Couple weeks

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! So, your 2014 Volkswagen Jetta is doing a little dance in idle, especially with the AC on? It’s probably not an alignment issue—your wheels aren't involved in the shudder here. Since you recently replaced an engine mount, it could be that another mount is loose or worn, or maybe the replacement mount needs a little tightening to keep things steady. When the AC kicks on, it puts extra load on the engine, so a loose mount can amplify that vibration. It's like having one wobbly leg on a table—tighten things up, and the shake might disappear.
