What is your question?
Hi, My check engine light came on a few days ago. Then today the epc light came on and the car would not accelerate past 20 mph.
What makes this problem better or worse?
If I do not accelerate or stop going more than 20 mph the light does not come on.
How long has your 2014 Volkswagen Jetta had this problem?
Few days.

EPC stands for "electronic power control". This is the system that transfers your accelerator pedal input to throttle control. If there is a failure in this system, the vehicle automatically shuts the performance down to a "limp mode" where nothing can be harmed -- including you. Diagnostic testing must be performed on this system to find out what has happened and what must be done to resolve the concern. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
After paying the VW dealership 1K on repairs on spark plugs and ignition coil replacement. Still didn’t fix my car turns out it was my ECM not communicating. Had to replace it with a new one.
Sounds like an issue that needs attention asap, lets get it in to the shop
