What is your question?
It started a few months ago and has been happening randomly and more frequently. Car stalls when parked or coasting. No loss of electrical power and can restart immediately. Instant shut off no surge or sputtering or discernable sounds. Cleaned throttle body to start and now has some sputtering when driving, almost like a split second stall and it feels like it "catches back" even after having car relearn after cleaning like manual says. Read some things that say it could be a cam shaft sensor but I am not entirely sure, no check engine light either
What makes this problem better or worse?
It seems to be random

Hi, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Great question, and thanks for all the detail! On your 2013 VW Jetta 2.0L the sudden no warning stall that restarts immediately with no electrical loss is a classic symptom of either a crankshaft position sensor or camshaft position sensor beginning to fail, so your instincts there are pretty solid. However the new sputtering that developed after the throttle body cleaning is worth paying attention to as well, as it's possible the relearn procedure didn't fully complete or there may be a related issue with the idle air control or mass airflow sensor that was disturbed during the cleaning process. The tricky part here is that VW's can be particularly sensitive when it comes to throttle body relearns and sensor issues, and without stored codes it can be difficult to pinpoint the exact cause without proper diagnostic equipment. Given that the stalling is becoming more frequent and could leave you stranded, I’d strongly recommend having a qualified shop with VW experience perform a thorough diagnosis before replacing any more parts.
