2013 jetta se 2.5 Electrical craziness after starter change

Hello, I'm Dave, helping folks there on RepairPal since 2010. I'm not too sure your starter replacement caused all these issues. You have an 11 year old vehicle. Things happen. I can't imagine something that could be done replacing a starter motor that could cause this problem. Not having been there to observe the replacement, it is impossible to know what could have "gone wrong" - if something was unintentionally moved or tweaked. Testing to see what is going on is needed. There is no "computer" influence for this. It could be an electrical short to ground or power in a nearby harness.
