Trying to replace 2 passenger side doors for 2011 Jetta from junkyard. The yard by me does not a 2011 model currently. Would doors from other years also be compatible with my car?

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Doors from the 2011 to 2014 model years should be compatible. These model years share the same body design and door structure, so swapping them should be straightforward. If the salvage yard has doors from Jettas within these years, they should fit your car without any major issues. Make sure to check the trim level and features of the donor doors—things like wiring for power windows, locks, and mirror adjustments should match. You might need to transfer over some interior components or door panels from your original doors to get everything to work seamlessly. If you’re unsure, you can always bring one of your current doors to the yard to compare the mounting points and wiring connections. This should help confirm compatibility before you make the purchase. Good luck! If you have any other questions, please call us at 877-913-1554!
