What is your question?
Was driving on expressway and oil light came on. Car was driving fine otherwise, no noises, no check engine lights. Took exit and checked oil. Empty. Poured in a quart and it dripped completely on to floor. Had the car towed to my house. The leak is from small drain hole in bell housing (attached to engine). Looks like the rear main seal popped out? If that's the problem, what should I expect to pay? Can't get any repair shop to give me a ballpark estimate without seeing the car. Can't tow from one shop to another to get a fair estimate. The Repairpal Estimator doesn't seem to work, can't get an estimate using it. Any suggestions?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Oil drains completely on to floor. Not driveable
How long has your 2009 Volkswagen Jetta had this problem?
1 day. No oil drips on driveway before that

You won't be able to get a very accurate estimate without the shopping diagnosing the leak. They can quote you on a rear main but you need to understand it may not be that. Use this link to find a good shop near you. https://repairpal.com/repair-shops Alex
