Windshield wiper fluid is not coming out of either nozzle

I know this sounds simple but when that happened to my Jetta it turned out that all the hosing was dry rotted and once replaced, everything worked fine.

can you hear the pump motor going ?? if you can then its either a leak in the pipe leading up to the windows, or a leak in the resouvior.
