What is your question?
When I push the stalk down to make left turn the right blinker engages. When I put the stalk in the middle the left blinker engages and when the stalk is pushed up the right blinker also engages. I’ve replaced the stalk and checked fuses.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Starting the car, lol
How long has your 2007 Volkswagen Jetta had this problem?
Since I bought it

A Volkswagen diagnostic tool has the ability to perform steering column component diagnostics; this would be quite helpful for you. To me, it still sounds like a combination switch issue. You say you've replaced it -- so then I start thinking about the wiring connector -- are the terminals OK or suspect?
All the wiring connectors look to me in good shape, none are bent or broke, also I’ve replaced the combination switch twice now, is there a ground some where I’m over looking? All my fuses look good as does the flasher. For the life of me I can’t find a blinker relay although it sounds like it’s behind the dash some where. Could the steering electronic control module be the problem? Some one please help.
