Dealer said to replace the mass air flow sensor. I did, now my car won't start?

Replacing a MAF is a pretty straight forward thing plug and play, the only recommendation I really have is to clear the adaptions currently set by maybe a bad MAF or a misdiagnosed problem? Did you buy a OEM MAF or aftermarket?
