What is your question?
My radio mysteriously stop working once I got it back from my locate VW dealer. It had been working fine until they fixed my drivers side window. But on my way home I tried to turn on the radio and it would not even come on. I took it back to them that next Monday and they said in order to fine out the problem I had a $281.00 diagnostic test, fee in order for them to tell me what is wrong with it. I like they move the radio fuse 15amp some where else on the panel in order to get more money from me.
What makes this problem better or worse?
It’s all about the placement of the radio fuse!

First: consult the service management at the dealer to see if they could possibly exercise the courtesy of doing basic checks (like checking the fuse) before going into a diagnostic process, especially in light of the circumstances you explained bout having been working until the window repair was performed. That said, the fuse is # F8 on Fuse Panel B -- which appears to be in the left side of the engine compartment. An owners manual for your vehicle would be quite a help here.
