What is your question?
The power to my dash lights and heater/ac blower as well as power windows shuts itself off for 1 or 2 seconds while I'm driving, sometimes more than others. Also if I lock the doors when parked, the alarm goes off on its own sometimes and the battery needs jumped after it sits parked more than 10-12 hrs (something draining battery) A mechanic told me I need to replace the central control module, and he got about 10 diagnostic codes related to this. Wondering if this sounds like an accurate diagnosis since it seems like a short or ground issue and he gave me a couple reasons to doubt what he told me. Also replaced the battery and for a week or 2 didn't need to jump at all but then started to drain overnight again and eventually within 4-5 hrs, and after a month and a half it was fried and needed to be replaced again. And if this does sound like a module needs replaced, am I right that it would be the central control module rather than the body control module? Thanks
What makes this problem better or worse?
Couple times the power shutting off seemed worse after rain but not 100% sure
How long has your 2006 Volkswagen Jetta had this problem?
Since I bought the car in may 2020 but has gotten worse

My first question: this smells like an aftermarket component installation concern. Is there an aftermarket alarm installed in the vehicle? Your "mechanic" may be right, but there sounds like a lot of generalities here. I'd find a really good VW tech near you.
