my car cranks up jus fine and runs good but all of a sudden the battery and the check engine light comes on and the car jus dies but will crank right up sometimes then other times its like it wont start till about 30-40 seconds and sometimes not at all for about 10-15mins then a epc light comes on which causes my rpm to rev at r above 1.

i found out that it was a crank sensor that went bad which will cause the car to shut down any time it gets hot and some times takes about 1 hour to start again in other words replacement is a must
