I swapped engines in my 01 Jetta. Everything is connected but the engine will not start. It won’t even turn at all? All electrical items and accessories are functioning. What might the problem be? Thanks

It won't turn at all? What is the source of the engine installed? Does the engine turn manually with a breaker bar? Is the starter motor getting power? Is it trying to engage?
