I have a 97 Vw Jetta GTX and I need to know why my gears are having a hard time connecting. This morning I tried to start my car and it wouldn't go in reverse or drive. My husband pushed it back in neutral and then pressed on the gas eventually it started to move after revving the engine. It jilted a while then was okay. What do you think it could be.
