What is your question?
Signal lights stopped working. Tried replacing the hazard switch. Also tried replacing the signal stalk. Hazard lights work. Thinking it’s a wiring issue now but don’t know where to start.

Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this concern on your Volkswagen Golf. A turn signal light concern in some cases can be caused by a wiring fault but there are other possible causes as well as your lighting system also runs through a body computer of sorts on your model. The first thing I recommend is to have your vehicle scanned for fault codes using a high end fully compatible scan tool to see what codes are stored. If any body or electrical related codes are stored those codes should be properly diagnosed to help pinpoint the concern. A high end scan tool can also be used to monitor data signals in the computers to help with identifying the cause. This would be the first thing I recommend having performed before attempting to chase any possible wiring issues as this will help rule out any internal computer issues. Electrical diagnosis in many cases can be difficult to perform without having a good wiring diagram as well as the correct tools to perform the testing. In many cases it may be best to have a reputable experienced repair facility look into an electrical concern like this to see if they can identify the point of failure so it can then be repaired properly.
