I've got a v5 golf and I'm have problems with it starting and think it could be the fuel pump not 100% but I've got to start some where

Hello, The part number is stamped on top of yours, and VW will change a part in the middle of the year, so you never know which version or revision you order parts. If it runs and drives, the fuel pump is fine in 99% of cases. Scan for codes. If your check engine light is not on, make sure it isn't burnt out.
Engine light is on but sometimes you turn the e fine over and it will not start. And when you turn the ignition on some time you hear the pump kick In and sometimes you dont
Ok, You should test the fuel pump relay. Do you ever have to replace the fuse?
