Hello, You may have a fuel pressure issue. The 1999 GTI had a 1.8T, is that what you have?

Sorry, the 1.8T is a 1.8 liter, turbocharged, four-cylinder engine. I have to know which engine your vehicle has in order to understand what the issue may be.
