Car is running hot... i replaced the thermostat...I replaced the thermostat housing which was cracked. It was still hot... The I wired the fans straight to battery... Still hot .. what am I overlooking?

It s not losing water.... Just gets hot .. will go about 4 blocks before I got to turn off engine. Runs strong just heats up fast

Did the fans turn on when manually powered?
Can you confirm coolant flow in the engine and in the radiator?
Did you purge the air from the cooling system after your thermostat repairs?
You could also have an internal engine coolant leak due to an overheat occurring and causing damage. This will need assessed also.
