Temp rises at red lights, fan wont come on.

There is a switch in the radiator that operates the fan, and I think there's a relay as well, check both of these.

turn the a/c on, does the fan come on then? this would rule out the radiator switch if it comes on. with a/c on and running check for power and ground at the fan wiring (brown is ground).

there actually is 2 fans in this assembly...i have a 2003 vr6 and had the same problem...i tried replacing the fueses...and both fans would turn on..then the fuses would blow and both would turn off...so i was forced to only have 1 fan spinning..sounds like a truck but hell it works
