What is your question?
There is a deafening high pitch alarm that starts up when the ignition is turned on (even before the engine is started. It doesn't stop. This is a Winnebago Rialta that is based on the Eurovan chassis. The alarm appears to be coming from the dash area and not coming out of the speakers. I do not think the vehicle has an alarm system. It isn't the Carbon Monoxide or smoke detectors. The radio alarm (Panasonic) is disabled. Any ideas on what it could be? The local VW dealer refuses to look at it since it is a motorhome.

Since this is essentially a modified vehicle, go to the company that performed the modification, or the place that sells the vans.
You may have a pinched vac hose. That sound is a little motor that helps heat up exhaust gases
make sur your seat and passenger's are in the forward position! not facing sideways or backward.
There is a ALARM Under the passager seat. Because it can swivel, the seat must be click in the lock driving position. I had this problem, check Under for a switch.
That was the answer. It cost me $178 to have a specialty shop diagnose the problem. I mentioned this to an earlier responder but I guess the questioned remained open.
