What is your question?
I have multiple warning lights on. About 8 months ago dealership said probably the ABS controlling and hydrolic modules. I opted not to replace ($2800!) and problem disappeared after reset. Now it has returned. ABS light is only part of the warnings... Also check engine, ESP, EPC, power steering assist. Also, speedometer drops to zero at random, convertible top will not function due to "speed to high" when vehicle is not moving, "please refuel" message with a full tank... Weird stuff! I really don't want to spend $2800 to replace the ABS module if that isn't the problem. Any thoughts?

Check into this . . . If not mistaken, i believe there is now a RECALL re: ABS brakes!? . . . Good Luck!
We have the identical issue (2009 EOS - appx 70k miles) and have taken this to an import repair shop that states it is the main abs control unit (electrical portion). They said dealer would recommend replacing hydraulic pumps also but they have repaired before without that. We are currently doing the main abs control unit ($1456 total with labor and parts) with them. Should have the car back on Monday and will let you know in the next week to come how it does. 4/19 updated - We did the repair as mentioned above - 1456, the new abs unit was around 800 (vw part ordered by parts shop that did repair) - car is driving great, better than before in all areas.
The same exact thing has happened to my 2009 Volkswagen Eos! The problem disappeared after reset for a few days and came back. I've been driving without replacing the ABS module for months now and the car was still driving okay, but now the engine will shut off at random times and the power steering assist will flash red. Has this happened to anyone else? It's very alarming and as you can probably imagine, quite unsafe.
We just bought a 2009 EOS we are having the same problem. Before we bought it it did that on a test drive VW dealer said it was an ignition module and replace the battery. So we bought it. One week later it is doing the same thing. The engine seems very weak on the bottom end but runs strong on the higher RPM. With so many lights and no speedometer it seems like an engine thing or main computer. Seems unusual to have an ABS system make it do all of this crazy stuff.
