Hello, First, disconnect the battery and wait about 15 minutes. That will prevent the air bag light from illuminating when you remove the seat. Next, remove the seat and inspect the system. Both rails (one on each side) must disengage when you pull up on the handle. If you have electric seats, check your fuses before you do anything else. If the fuse is good, you will need to test the circuit including the forward and backwards adjustment switch.
