Safe mode issues

Have a similar car dealer told me radio has to be removed to get the chassis number of the actual radio itself to obtain the radio security code.

the 4 digit code is on the rear of the unit... your suppose to use "keys" to get it out but if you stick a knife in both slots and get one to catch, it will be out

well after i disconnected the battery this happened to me, in my daughters manual theres a 4 digit code. its possible its the same in all 01 cabrios. try 1315
