Our trunk will not open with the key fab or manually. Additionally, the camera just shows a black screen when backing up

Hello, my gut feeling is that the wiring that supplies power to the rear camera and trunk lock actuator could be compromised. Seems like it'd be too random to be two separate problems. Check especially around where the wiring comes to these components through the trunk lid at the hinge area where there is flexing for possible wiring issues.
