trunk makes grinding noise upon opening

the grinding noise begins when I push on the opener button of the trunk and stops when the trunk is open; the car dings and points to the trunk. this has been happening been happening each time I open the trunk, approximately for a week. A complete service was done in February, car is in good mechanical shape
