Ignition cause of not being able to start car when wheels are locked?
What is your question?
When my wheels are locked because I turned the steering wheel I then have to try to move the steering wheel and start the car. I have a very hard time doing this. Only after many tries of moving the steering wheel and jiggling the key a bit that I can get the car started. This is a 2009 Volkswagon Beetle convertible and I have just bought it so don't know if this was a problem with past owner. I was told changing the ignition switch may be helpful to make it easier to start the car when the wheels lock.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing just repeating trying to start the car.
How long has your 2009 Volkswagen Beetle had this problem?
