2008 bug

Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. Replacing the radiator on your 2008 Volkswagen Beetle can be a time consuming repair. Book labor time is right around 6.1 hours. The reason for this is the front bumper needs to be removed which is also part of the front fenders on this model to then be able to loosen and remove/move a brace to access the components needed to replace the radiator. The engine cooling fan and fan shroud assembly will also need to be removed. If this is something that you may feel uncomfortable doing yourself in many cases it may be best to allow a repair facility to replace it for you. I wish I had some better news to give you on this.
