BMW have the same thing it has a switch on the door handle that tells the control module you are about to enter the car/open the door and allows the window to drop a little, does it drop the window a little on the other door when you try to open it? In any case check the fuses first and after that the door panel in the offending door may have to be removed to see what is incorrect.
