noise when driving

What is your question?

Everything is fine when idling. When I driving it sounds as if I am driving a 4 wheel drive vehicle! This just started about 2 weeks ago on vacation and my husband is convinced it has to do with our tires. Although the tread seems okay, and the pressure is good. We arr taking it in this week to have them checked. I am a little freaked at the noise! Any ideas?
