HELLO, NOT A MECH. BUT WHY CAN'T I GET THE LEFT FRONT TIRE OFF AFTER REMOVING ALL THE LUG NUTS THERE IS A CENTER BOLT IS THAT BECAUSE ITS FRONT WHEEL DRIVE AND I NEED A SPECIAL TOOL?

There should not be a center bolt. There may be some corrosion between the wheel and the hub. There are a couple of things to can do to try and get the tire and wheel off. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS!!! A good swift kick with the heal of your foot is sometimes all that is necessary. If that does not work you can try pounding the back of the tire with a large rubber mallet. The last option would be to reinstall ALL of the lug nuts about 1/2 way, lower the car back onto the ground and rock the car side to side using the weight of the car to break the wheel loose. If none of these options work you should get your 2006 Beetle into a shop were a qualified technician can take a look at it.
The wheel fits tight onto the center of the rotor. I had to pry mine off with a hammer handle.
