Every time I get gas my VW bug won’t start. It take about 5 time and I have to rev the engine so it don’t shirt off. It only happens when I put gas in it

My VW Bug won’t start right away after putting gas in it. No matter if I put in $5 or fill it up. I have to rev engine and put my foot on gas and break to go forward with out it shutting off/stalling. Anyone know why this would happen? I have no other problems with it starting just when I put gas in it. Yes it takes gas it’s not diesel. Sorry it’s 2007 Bug not 2002.
