What is your question?
My VW Bug won’t start right away after putting gas in it. No matter if I put in $5 or fill it up. I have to rev engine and put my foot on gas and break to go forward with out it shutting off/stalling. Anyone know why this would happen? I have no other problems with it starting just when I put gas in it. Yes it takes gas it’s not diesel. Sorry it’s 2007 Bug not 2002.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Only happens when I put gas in
How long has your 2002 Volkswagen Beetle had this problem?
since owning car 3 yrs

Hello, the only thing I can think of is the presence of some kind of evaporative emission system issue that is creating vacuum or pressure preventing normal flow of fuel to the engine. This is a total guess, and could be confirmed (or ruled out) with hands on testing. There is no other correlation I can think of to poor running after fueling...and even this thought is theoretical.
